Dixie is a fun and friendly dog. She enjoys meeting new people and seems to be fine around kids and other dogs. She loves to play with stuffed toys and she wants them all! She's a hound dog, so she walks with her nose to the ground and would most likely chase squirrels and cats. She has the hound bay and bark when she is running around with another dog and having fun, or reminding you that it's time for dinner. Dixie is very playful and energetic for a dog that is supposedly 9 years old (5/23/15) and would do best with a fenced in yard. Dixie loves food and she could probably stand to lose a few of her 50 pounds. She is up to date on her shots, spayed and microchipped. Dixie is looking for an inside home with toys, a fenced in yard, and maybe a dog to play with.
