Meet Pumpkin, a cancer survivor who has faced life's challenges head-on! Pumpkin takes his time to build trust with new people, but will reward patience with loyalty and affection. He is nervous in new environments, but finds joy in the great outdoors. During his time in foster care, we discovered that Pumpkin thrives in a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Loud or sudden noises, especially from energetic kids, can unsettle him. So, he's looking for a home where he can relax and feel secure. Pumpkin gets along well with cats. He enjoys playing with other dogs, but sometimes has a hard time knowing when to stop. Because of that, he might do best as the only dog in the house, where he can get all the attention and guidance he needs.
