Hazel is a sweet young girl who is still learning about the world. She can be shy and timid with new people and experiences at first, but once she feels comfortable her affectionate side really shines. When she knows you, Hazel loves to cuddle and will happily give kisses.

Hazel enjoys playing with her sister Honey and has a playful puppy spirit. She is still working on her manners as she grows, but she is eager to learn and already knows how to sit for a treat.

With patience, encouragement, and a loving home, Hazel will continue to gain confidence and blossom into a wonderful companion. She will do best with someone who understands that shy dogs just need a little time and kindness to feel safe.

Hazel was born on 2/19/2025 and currently weighs about 36 pounds. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Hazel is looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue to learn, play, and enjoy plenty of cuddles.

She joined the Leash on Life Prison Pup Program in April of 2026. She will work on her confidence and basic obedience training.
