With a heavy heart and eyes blurred by tears, we share the heartbreaking news of our dear Darlene’s passing.
Our sweet Darlene was with us at the store on Thursday when, in the afternoon, an ambulance had to be called. There are no words, only sobs, as we mourn our angel. She was our sweetheart, and we will forever miss her warm hugs.
In comforting our pain, we remember that Darlene had an exciting day of sales on Thursday. She spent her last moments basking in the sun outside the furniture store, surrounded by everything she held dear, and exactly where she wanted to be—helping the animals with the HSMC.
Today, and for the rest of our days, we will keep Darlene’s magic alive and continue to care for the animals she was so passionate about.
Our deepest condolences to us all. We are so incredibly sorry.

HSMC Awarded $5,000 to distribute Tractor Supply goods
HSMC will be receiving a $5,000 gift from MuttNation (Miranda Lambert’s charity) for disaster relief efforts. This money will be spent at Tractor Supply and we will need volunteers to help drive, shop, unload, and distribute supplies to the community.
