Pesto along with his brother and sister were found after being abandoned on a back road. They were very skittish, and it took a while to trap them. They had either not had much human interaction, or the interaction they had was not positive. Pesto is a sweet, shy pup who’s still learning to trust the world around him. While he can be walked on a leash and seems to enjoy being petted by people he knows, Pesto is still getting used to life outside of his comfort zone. He sometimes prefers to stay in his kennel, especially when there’s a lot going on around him. With patience, love, and a quiet environment, Pesto is sure to continue gaining confidence and will make a great companion for the right person or family. His birthday is 10/14/21, he is neutered, up to date on shots, and weighs 34lbs. Pesto isn’t quite ready for adoption, but please let us know if you would like to meet him.
